About the WSE file type:
If Windows cannot find the appropriate program associated with .WSE files, then your registry may have errors. Check your Windows registry for errors (includes file association errors).Wise is a software that was developed and distributed originally by Altiris, Inc which was later acquired by Symantec Corporation in the year 2007. Wise is an installer program that is used for creating software installers for other softwares. When the development of a software has completed then comes the part of distributing the software to the client. Often the development environment of the software where it was created is vastly different than what the environment of the client would be. In the installation of a software it is made sure that the important files are first copied in the right folders and the proper registry entries of the software that is being installed must be registered in the Windows Registry database, also it has to be made sure at all times during the installation of the software that all the files have been copied properly and that there was no error or problem having occurred in any step of the installation. Wise is an intelligent software installation creator program that lets users to be able to create custom software installers for distributing their applications binary files to the client. What needs to be done is we create a WSE script file and give in that the details of the order of the files that should be copied in the destination directory, the registry entries that need to be added into the windows registry database and some other small issues like registering dll files, and then this WSE script file is taken in by the Wise installer program and it takes all the relevant files needed based on the WSE scripts details and builds an intelligent installer which is capable of handling all of the details of the installation process.
