VIV files are typically Video format files that are used specifically for adult videos. VivoActive was the company that developed these files that could only be played in the VivoActive application but were discontinued since 1997; however this file format is still supported by the RealPlayer and can be played using it in case you wish to play it. Since November 2008 the VivoActive Player has been made available again and it is distributed 'as is' by the RealNetworks' web site.
