VIP files are also used by myMATH which is a computer algebra system. It was developed in the early 80s and late 70s by David Stoutemyer and Albert D. Rich from the Soft Warehouse in Hawaii. It was developed using the mySIMP programming language which is built using the LISP dialect known as myLISP. It supports CP/M, TRS-DOS, MSDOS as well as Apple II platforms. Soft Warehouse later had developed another software which was also based on the computer algebra system, later in the year 1999 this company was acquired by Texas Instruments and the development of the software ended in the year 2006.
