In Spain, according to a new law all the vehicles which weigh more than 3.5 tonnes or which can transport more than 9 persons also including the driver or those which are first time registered vehicles must now install digital tachographs. These are files that are from the device. These files are uploaded to an application resident on the Ministerio de Formento website and then the content is displayed in a simple human-readable format for the people.

Terragen is an application that is currently under development for the Windows as well as the MacOS which is a scenery generator. The TGD files contain all the data and information that was previously contained in .TER, .TGW files used by the original Terragen software. TGD files work only with the new Terragen 2 Technology Preview 1.
