File Extension SH

File type: Bash Shell Script

About the SH file type:

If Windows cannot find the appropriate program associated with .SH files, then your registry may have errors. Check your Windows registry for errors (includes file association errors).

The SH file extension is used for the scripts programmed exclusively for bash or Bourne-Again Shell. These SH scripts contain instructions also written using the bash language. They can be executed and run on the system by typing certain text commands within the command-line interface of shell. Bash is a free application UNIX shell specifically developed for the GNU project. It was created by Brian Fox in 1987 and Chet Ramey has become its primary maintainer since 1990.
