This file is used by Nimble Scan which is proprietary software of NimpleGen and the same is used for automated placement of the design-specific grid on the NimbleGen array images. This shall also include the extraction and linkage of the raw intensity values with corresponding probe description parameters. This file is the information text of the custom microarray designs which are made by the NimbleScan software. This is a Tab Delimited File and can be opened in the notepad also. This file shall have all the information about the designs which the software will create for being used to place the images on the grid of the software
