These files contain song lyrics of associated song files and it also includes the 'Time Line Tags" which serve as the cue points for indicating exactly at what time these lyrics are to be shown during song playback and can be utilized for karaoke as well as other purposes. LRC files usually have the exact same file name as the song file to which they are associated. LRC is also a file format that is used to synchronize the song lyrics with audio files, such as Ogg, MIDI, or MP3.
