If Windows cannot find the appropriate program associated with .LID files, then your registry may have errors. Check your Windows registry for errors (includes file association errors).

LID files store album information of photos as well as videos captured by Kodak EasyShare camera and defines which album each photo or video is in and is also used for organizing and keeping track of the different sets of videos and photos. LID files are used by the EasyShare software included with the camera; they are saved in the same directory as the image files, but do not contain actual image data. It is also used as a backup of library file used by Scholar's Aid.
