Roxio is a consumer software division which was later bought out by Sonic Solutions in December 2004 developed the software Easy CD Creator which is used to create CD/DVD labels. It uses JWL extension for the files that it creates which can be printed to be pasted over CDs/DVDs. JewelCase Maker is a software that is used to create labels and covers for CDs and DVDs and the files it creates are saved with JWC extension. It is a software that also helps you to be able to design and even print case inserts and also supports the LightScribe technology. This is also occasionally included along with certain CD/DVD burning softwares.
