File Extension EVT

The EVT file extension is a log file for system and event changes that Operating Systems or supporting applications have performed. The files with the EVT file extension contain information on the periodic happenings archived under different names of the EVT file format. The kinds of events saved into this kind of file are warnings, errors, basic log information, file installation, software security, hardware settings, file auditing, etc. Every kind of saved file event is classified into various nodes. They are classified under Windows either as linked programs in the Operating System, general procedures for hardware, system setup, or events forwarded by internal application process. The files with the EVT file extension are loaded automatically on memory as soon as the program Event Viewer in the Microsoft Windows has been accessed. The Event Viewer's graphical user interface has a directory structure of the various event areas containing recorded information during the uptime of the system. Every area in the GUI has a corresponding EVT file extension linked to it with tagged information. Accessing files with the EVT file extension is simply a one-to-one loading procedure. The moment another logged events area is accessed, it is followed by the unloading of the present log file from the display window and then it is replaced by a new EVT file extension.
