File Extension EFX

The eFax Messenger Software is affiliated with the EFX file extension. The capability for storage of files with the EFX file format allows users to send fax messages via email including viewing fax messages as email attachments. The EFX file format is also utilized for desktop applications and Web interface. The eFax service is created by j2 Global Communications. It allows users to receive and send fax documents by means of the user's email in digital format instead of the conventional paper using a fax machine. The EFX file extension is stored using the small ANSI C/POSIX application which is frequently employed by fax modems in receiving and sending faxes. The said application is also a lot easier to install instead of the program HylaFAX or mgetty+sendfax mainly because it has a smaller size. The EFX file extension has commands for the shell script that enables users to view, send, receive and print digital fax documents.
