The IsoBuster application also creates the CCD file containing files rescued from damaged DVDs, CDs or Blu Ray discs. The interpretation and gathering of data is entirely done by the IsoBuster software to work its way around Windows limitations. The CCD file extension contains audio and it can be used to copy data. It is however most often used as a backup CD.
