It is a renamed RAR file that can be decompressed with any decompression tools. The CDisplay particularly displays the images of the comic book stored in the CBR file. In addition, the CBR file need not be decompressed when this program is used. The files saved in the CBR file extension are PNG, GIF and JPEG files. The pages stored are displayed one or two at a time. Not all the decompression tools will be able to display the comic book images in a book format. Also, there might be extra characters that will be displayed upon decompressing the file when the tool used does not have full support on the CBR file extension.
